Establishment of the Factory
The State Aviation Works enterprise is founded.
1938
First "Szpak" Planes
Production of the first Polish aircraft,
the "Szpak - 4T"
1948
AN 2 - 14,000 Units
Launch of AN-2 production (14,000 units produced).
1960
Factory Expansion
Construction of a new factory unit and the beginning of M28 Skytruck production.
1980
Foundation of ZPTsz PZL Mielec
The ZPTsz PZL Mielec company is established.
1994
Acquisition by the Zasada Group
The company becomes part of the Zasada Group.
1998
Production for the Railway Industry
Start of production for the railway industry.
2002
Joining the "Aviation Valley"
Becoming a member of the Aviation Valley Association.
2007
Name Change
Rebranding to "Tworzywa Sztuczne PZL Mielec."
